Policies

Platform fee

Nairatix charges a platform fee on every ticket sold, shown to organizers on the event form and to buyers at checkout. The default fee is 7.5% of the ticket face value. Flutterwave processing charges are billed separately at the prevailing rate.

Ticket refund policy

  • Tickets are refundable up to 72 hours before the event start time.
  • If an event is cancelled or postponed by the organizer, buyers are refunded in full, including the platform fee.
  • Refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.
  • Checked-in tickets and no-shows are not refundable.

NairatixTV rentals

A rental unlocks a title for 24 hours from the moment payment is confirmed. Rentals are non-refundable once playback has started, except where the title fails to play due to a fault on our side.

Live shows

Every live show on Nairatix is ticketed. If a show does not go live at all, pass holders are refunded in full.

Creator revenue and payouts

Creators earn 80% of gross pay-per-view income before tax; Nairatix retains 20%. Every sale is written to a ledger visible in the creator dashboard. Payouts run as a single batch by bank transfer at the end of each calendar month, after an admin review.
